Short Film Competition

Short Film Competition

Calling all aspiring Videographers, Directors, Writers or Producers aged 18-29. Do you have a short film idea that will convey a social impact message and inspire change?

The aim of the Visionary Social Impact Short Film Competition is raising awareness about social issues by making use of the creative perspective of the cinema and its power of influence. Stories about race, gender, mental health, poverty, abuse, climate change to any political injustice that needs a voice are topics we wish to see explored.

We are looking for the most creative, innovative and engaging short films/documentaries (up to 15-minutes running time) and want to help bring your ideas to life!

Initial entries will be via a synopsis or sizzle, along with a link to any previous work/projects. Closing date for entries 31st March 2022.

The top 5 shortlisted will be awarded £1,000 towards making their film, and will be presented on the big screen at the Visionary Arts Social Impact Film Festival in October 2022!
